Sustainability

“There is No Planet B”

Earth is the only possible Home to Mankind. It is thus not a good idea to poison the Atmosphere with CO2.

The VacTrain® can help to reduce the CO2-Emissions of the transportation sector by over 20% (1’000’000’000 tons p.a.)
whilst simultaneously improving the Speeds and the Quality of Service for the General Public.

The VacTrain® will have a positive impact on the environment. It is expected to draw Traffic away from Short-Haul Aviation and Intercity Highways and thus reduce the CO2 Emissions of the transportation industry by over 20% or 1’000’000’000 Tons p.a. (NB: Aviation accounts for 11% / Cars 40% / Trucks 34% / Shipping 11% / Trains 4% of global CO2 Emissions). Oil consumption will also be reduced. Getting travellers on a competitive sustainable system like the VacTrain® is the most effective way to reduce CO2 emissions. This is simply because it makes little sense to pollute the atmosphere with CO2 and then try to clean it up with Carbon Capture, CO2 Compensations, Carbon Taxes, so-called Biofuels, etc. These are all questionable measures and it can be proven with some simple Maths and Physics that they cannot possibly resolve the Climate Crisis.

Our systems and technology will be made available to all countries of the world. A proliferation is in the interest of all stakeholders and Switzerland is leading the way with SwissMetro-NG. Initiatives to increase the market-share of Public Transportation as a means to improve Services and reduce CO2 Emissions were already voted into law by parliament:

Switzerland and Countries of the world (total 197 parties) are already committed to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change (UN-FCCC) and are thus expected to adopt similar legislation and realise construction projects analogue SwissMetro-NG.

With the Sustainable SuperSonic VacTrain®, CO2-Reduction becomes a By-Product of Intercity and Transcontinental Travel.
